Detail About My Biography of the Educator

Hi! My name is Gerald, and I graduated from an animation university in Barcelona because I've loved cartoons since childhood. I've always been interested in not just watching them, but finding something deeper and more intriguing than just the childish meanings. I dreamed of creating my own cartoons, developing plots for existing ones, and designing new characters to bring them to life on screen.

Now, I want to share my experience with you. In my course, I'll explain how to create your own cartoon from scratch in a short amount of time. We'll cover all the stages — from developing an idea and writing a script to creating characters and animating them. I’ll show you how to use accessible tools and software so that anyone can bring their ideas to life, even without prior animation experience.

I believe everyone has the potential to become an animator, and I want to help you unlock that potential. Together, we'll create something amazing and inspiring. Let’s bring your ideas to life and make your first cartoon a reality!

To effectively use your imagination for creating original plots and their twists, it's important to start with research and inspiration. Explore various sources — books, films, and cartoons. Pay attention to what you like and what evokes emotions in you, and jot down ideas and images that come to mind.

Developing vivid and memorable characters is another key aspect. Think about their backgrounds, goals, and motivations. The interactions between characters and their traits can significantly impact the plot's development, so it's essential to flesh them out.

The structure of the plot also plays a significant role. Utilizing classic frameworks, such as the three-act structure, will help organize your ideas. Define the beginning, middle, and end, as well as the key turning points that will keep the audience engaged.

As an animator, the ability to visualize ideas is an integral part of the work. Use sketches and storyboards to imagine how key scenes will look; this will help you better understand the visual progression of the plot.
